My name is Rick Hoekman ('72)
and I have been active in the audio field for more than 25 years. Started to write and program audio when the first home computers were hitting the market at the age of 14. The first years were dedicated to writing music and designing sound-effects for several videogames during the ’80 and ’90.
Over the years, with always an ear for quality and getting that ‘big’ analog sound, I started to develop my own signature sound and got asked by several producers to record, mix and master their tracks.
Today, my main focus of expertise lies in audio restoration. Especially cleaning up unwanted elements like background noise during an interview or dialogue.
